Remote village of Sathighar, 4 hours North of Katmandu. Almost all the house have been destroyed after the earthquake. Eleven people were killed and many were injured along with hundreds of livestock buried alive. The team from Nepal Red Cross was the first to reach the village since the earthquake struck. Following the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that hit central Nepal, thousands of people have been living outdoors, fearful of returning to their homes. The Nepal Red Cross has been distributing tarpaulins across Kathmandu to provide families with emergency shelter.
